Looking to make a real impact on land and water sustainability in Northland? Join the NZ Landcare Trust-Ngā Matapopore Whenua team!
This 12-month, full-time fixed-term role offers the chance to work directly with farmers, landowners, tangata whenua, schools, and local communities on exciting environmental initiatives. From facilitating workshops and supporting catchment groups to promoting sustainable farming and restoring wetlands, every day will be different!
What you’ll do:
- Coordinate events, workshops, and projects focused on sustainable land and water management
- Work with farmers, iwi, and communities to drive environmental action
- Build partnerships and create resources to empower local groups
- Support biodiversity, riparian planting, and youth-led initiatives
